Beetroot leaf crisps to have with your gin

Earlier in the year I transplanted some beetroot that were in the wrong place, you may remember. I wasn’t really expecting much, but didn’t feel I could throw them out.

Anyway, now it’s paid off. Last night I picked about 10 of them, rubbed them with a little oil and a dusting of salt and dried them in the oven for about 15 minutes until they crisped up.

I don’t know what they are like without gin.
