Sprouting seeds

It’s a nice morning, I’ve done the washing, so my thoughts turned to sprouting seeds. I’d also just found a pack of them in the cupboard that I’d obviously bought at some point in the past.

The instructions seemed quite simple ( rinse them, put them in a jar, cover them in water and leave them overnight ).

Update 2 days later.

So, I followed the instructions, drained them in the morning, then rinsed them and drained them every 12 hours or so until they’d started to sprout a little bit.

I then read one too many articles which suggested that there was a slight chance of picking up salmonella from them, so decided that they would now become ….. MICROGREENS.

They are now sitting in the greenhouse in some potting compost. Watch this space.
