Remember those beans that I was going to try and sprout a few weeks back? Well those ugly ducklings have just turned out to be swans.
These are a mix of chickpeas, sunflower seeds, lentils, mung beans and aduki beans, though most of what is coming up appears to be lentils with the odd other plant.
I’ve just started another lot, this time of peas which we bought a couple of years ago to plant in the garden. I soaked them overnight, then put them in a seed tray 2/3 full of compost, then covered them in more compost.
They’re currently in the greenhouse.
